Although Council voted in September to repeal residents’ RITA tax from that point forward, College Corner taxpayers are reminded that they will still need to file and pay final tax returns for the tax year 2025 for the portion of the year that the tax was in effect (through 9/12/25).
RITA will notify employers of the repeal of the tax and employees who had the College Corner tax withheld after September 12,2025 may apply for a refund through RITA.
RITA will still process tax year 2025 tax returns and RITA will continue to bill taxpayers for tax due to College Corner for tax years 2024 and 2025.
